Pembrokeshire in West Wales is famous for its stretches of sandy beaches and rugged coastline and the longest uniterupted sandy beach in the county, the award winning Newgale beach is just 3 miles from Scamford Park and is situated centrally within St Brides bay and the beaches at Pennycwm, Broad Haven, Druidstone and St Brides are nearby and easily accessable.

To the north is Solva and the historic cathedral city of St David’s which is named for the patron Saint of Wales.

Further north the countryside becomes more rugged as it passes into the Preseli mountains, of which Scamford park boasts an outstanding view, and the standing stones of Pentre Ifan.

To the south are the tourist destinations of Saundersfoot and Tenby, easily accessible for day trips, there are a great concentration of tourist attractions in this area ranging from the Oakwood theme park, Whale and dolphin watching boat trips, Horse riding on the beach and the chocolate making monks on Caldey island.
