Scamford Park is ideally situated for accessing what the beautiful county of Pembrokeshire has to offer whether it be the 165 miles of Pembrokeshire coast path set in the Pembrokeshire coast national park or the amenities of Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire’s county town.
Pembrokeshire in West Wales is famous for its stretches of sandy beaches and rugged coastline and the longest uniterupted sandy beach in the county, Newgale is on your doorstep at Scamford Park just 3 miles down the road. As Scamford Park is situated centrally within St Brides bay all of the beaches on it are within easy access including Newgale, Pennycwm, Broad Haven, Druidstone and St Brides.
To the north is Solva and St David’s with its wonderful cathedral the city (yes it is the UK’s smallest city) is named for the patron St. of Wales. Further north and the countryside becomes more rugged as we pass into the Preseli mountains and past the standing stones of Pentre Ifan.
To the south are the tourist destinations of Saudersfoot and Tenby, easily accessible for day trips, there are a great concentration of tourist attractions in this area ranging from the Oakwood theme park to a visit to the choclotae making monks on Caldey island.
Pembrokeshire really is an interesting and diverse a county as the UK has to offer.
